Brother Ulysee Elmore, age 73, of 315 Lafayette Street in Calhoun Falls, SC, went home to be with the Lord on January 8, 2026 at Self Regional Health Care in Greenwood, SC. He was born on May 25, 1952 in Abbeville County, SC, to the late William and Louise Reed Elmore.
He was a member of Mt. Olive Church of God Holiness, where he attended faithfully until his illness. "Cee" as he was affectionately known, attended the public schools of Abbeville County. He was employed with the Rocky River Plant for a number of years. He later retired from CSX Railroad.
Test
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Sallie E. Lee, Betty E. Lewis, and Sarah L. Elmore; one brother, William H. Elmore; and one son, Andreliqus Tate.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, LaTarsha Pulliam (Derrick) Briggman of Gaston, SC, Ulysee (Willette) Elmore II of Columbia, SC, Kelcey Elmore of Calhoun Falls, SC, Dexter (Krystina) Elmore of Jacksonville, FL, Ukasha Elmore of Charlotte, NC, MaLinda Sanders of Calhoun Fall, SC, Cortessa (Rafael) Freeman of Anderson, SC, Crystal Bryant of Abbeville, SC, Randall Harris of Anderson, SC, Marlon Tate of Calhoun Falls, SC, and Karon (Lisa) Tate of Jacksonville, FL; twenty-five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; one brother, Iagle Elmore of Calhoun Falls, SC; two sisters, Amy E. Lyda of North Carolina and Shannon Elmore of McCormick, SC; a special nieces, Loletha Glover of Calhoun Falls, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who will grieve his passing.
